High performance plugs by the use of the "Lasercleaver"

The Comet Lasercleaver is using a new, non-contacting Laser system, to cut accurately defined and to remove the glue dot off the ferrule. Because of this you achieve an extensive improvement of the quality of the final surface.

Furthermore you achieve a constant excess length of the fiber which makes an ideal grinding process possible, because of the use of this engine. Thus, the breaking of the fiber within the ferrule is a thing of the past. The consequence is a conspicuously improvement of the messured values. With this technics, tde has achieved a technological advance once again.
